Goa reopens for tourists now


  • Finally Goa has reopened for tourists after it remained closed for several months due to the second wave of Covid cases across the country, and rise in the cases in the state.

  • As per reports, this most popular beach destination will now allow travellers who are fully-vaccinated at least 14 days before the date of entry, and also those who provide a negative COVID test report accredited by ICMR labs and people from Kerala would required to submit a negative RT-PCR test report.

  • This decision was taken after that state registered decline in the number of COVID-19 cases.

  • Goa CM Pramod Sawant added that a new SOP for travellers, mandating to provide negative RT-PCR or full vaccination test results, will be laid down.
