A makeover, AI capabilities, contextual translation, and other updates are made to Google Translate for iOS:
Together with other services like Google Lens, Google Translate now has support for more AI-powered capabilities. Additional context, a new look, gestures, and more languages are among the new features that the US-based internet giant has revealed for Google Translate. There are 33 additional languages that are supported, including Chinese, Hawaiian, Hmong, Kurdish, Latin, Luxembourgish, Sundanese, Yiddish, and Zulu. Dynamic fonts that change as text is entered have also been added by Google to the app.
Insights from a blog post reveal that Google Translate now provides more contextual translation possibilities in the languages users desire to translate. This implies that the proper expression, regional idiom, or word can be instantaneously translated and used correctly.
