Kerala(India) introduces the Bio-bubble model to revive tourism in the state.

Kerala tourism introduced the "bio-bubble" model to revive tourism in the state after Covid.

The Kerala State government reopened all the tourist centres in Kerala to make things more accessible to travellers who have taken at least the first dose of vaccine.

Bio-bubble is a safe, secure environment created for vaccinated tourists and staff.

In this environment, only vaccinated staff will handle tourists, from the time they get into the state till they reach the destination.

The Kerala State government Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas stated to the media, "From the airport, they can drive to their destinations in cabs, provided by the accredited tour operators, whose drivers are all vaccinated.

The same goes for the resorts, hotels or homestays they stay during their vacation"
