The first-ever commercial Space Situational Awareness (SSA) observatory in India will soon be built in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand by the Bengaluru-based space sector startup Digantara Research and Technologies.
The observatory will enable watchers to monitor all space activity, including watching out for military satellites and space junk.
India will soon be able to keep track on occurrences in deep space, particularly those in geostationary, medium-Earth, and high-Earth orbits.
Digantara became the first space-based active orbital surveillance platform in the world with the goal of establishing a sustainable access to space. Even the smallest space junk will be visible to viewers.
